[When the journal starts recording, the sound of something bubbling away in the background can be heard. A few seconds later, though, the face of a cheerful-looking redhead appears in the journal's camera.

... She's also way too close to the journal's camera, as all you can see in the picture is her face and the fact that she has reddish-brown hair. Not to mention, because she's so close, she may sound a bit ... loud.]

Hello, everyone! ... Am I using this the right way? Well, I could just try again later if I'm not.

Um, anyway! Everyone, I want you to tell me about your favorite pies. I'm trying to come up with some new recipes, but then I remembered I'm here, so there has to be a bunch of people from worlds with totally huge piles of pie recipes in it, right? I mean, it would be way too sad if your world didn't have any pie in it ... I just can't imagine a world like that ...

[... A few seconds of quiet as she seems to be contemplating, then she realizes how off-track she's getting and starts talking again.]

So I'd like to hear about those pies, and maybe get their recipes too, if anyone has them!

[A big, cheery smile, and she waves at the screen -- though, with how close she is, it probably looks more like she's trying to wipe off the journal's camera.]

How did ya make a pie inside a cauldron?...

I made it with alchemy! I know it may seem a little strange, but I assure you, it's just as good as one you'd bake in an oven. Maybe even better!

[With that, she walks over to the table to put the pie down (it's even an individual-sized one, go fig) and quickly pokes into the nearby kitchen to get a fork.]

I'm not sure if I wanna eat a pie made with magic... What's it gonna do ta me? I'm bettin' it has some weird side effect!

[No way, not eating that.]

[Coming back in with a fork! ... And frowning. Man, she worked hard to make sure this pie didn't have any weird traits, aside from maybe XS Healing.]

But I didn't make this one with any side effect traits! It really is a perfectly normal fish pie!

[Look at her, Ravy. Look at how disappointed she looks. You're breaking her pie-loving heart :(]

[Yeah well at least you have a heart to break in the first place.]

Alright then! [He cuts a small piece of pie out and holds it on the fork.] If it's perfectly safe ta eat then why don't you take the first bite?

Oh, all right. If that's what it'll take!

[So she'll take the fork and eat that little piece. And then---!!!

Absolutely nothing happens. Aside from her looking pleased at the taste, anyway.]

Mmm, yep! This is definitely one of my better results.

[See, she's fine. Now stop being such a baby, Raven, and eat your cauldron-born pie.]

Ya weren't kiddin' about being able ta make pies, were ya? This is pretty good! Not sure I approve of how ya made it but I guess the taste is what matters in the end!

Hehe, I agree! I can also make pies the usual way, but with alchemy, there are so many more possibilities! Sure, it may look a little funny to be doing things this way, but I wouldn't be able to make so many different kinds of pie if I did it normally.
