Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Anyway, so you're probably more "in sensei's head" than I am with mine, so if you were Gai, where would you hide?

Ah! Gai Sensei... he is so smart, his hiding places could be numerous. [narrows eyes.] But he can't go on without his regular sake! He must go to one of the bars sometime for a drink! Maybe we can catch him in the act, or find out if he's been seen there!

[He gleefully strolls alongside her.]

Okay so... Wait don't go in the front door! If Kakashi's really helping Gai out with this, he might have some kind of back up trap. --Do you see a broom anywhere?

[He freezes when Sakura begins speaking and listens diligently to his orders as if she were warning him about a land mine.]

You're right, Sakura-san! Who knows what kind of trap he could have devised with that Sharingan?!

[His eyes dart back and forth until-]

[Lee points to a broom leaning against an outer wall of the bar.]

((SNATCHES IT UP.))

Okay so... I guess we're okay for any weird spring boards. ((Pokes the ceiling.)) And clear for any weird drop down things.

Right! Good. I guess we just have to poke the door open then. You think Gai-sensei will see us right away?

His senses are quick, but... I'll have to be quicker, if we will succeed. You can poke the door, Sakura-san, and I will immediately rush in to meet him. [He flashes a thumbs up and a smile - the nice guy pose.] Please count on me, Sakura-san.

((A pause... A stare, and she figures she'll smile back.))


Alright! On the count of three...!

[He nods. His heart pounds, from some mix of anxiety and how close Sakura is standing to him.

He quickly drops the weights on his clothing. Lee won't let anything stop him.]

((She readies her broom--if people were watching this, they'd think these two were crazy, no doubt. A tight grip and..))

THREE!!

((MAKES THAT DOOR HER BITCH I mean--!!))

[Lee dashes forward, passing through the door exactly as its opening. And as he bursts into the bar he lets out a thundering cry.]

GAAAAAAAAIIIIIIII SENSEIIIIIIIIIII!

[His eyes dart around in mid-dash, covering the entire bar room. But there's no set of eyebrows like him, nor even a masked face with David Bowe-esque hair.]

[It isn't the stares of people that humiliates Lee. It's the feeling that he's failed. But still... the physical contact from Sakura is welcome. He tries to grin and go along with it.

But something still catches his eye as they reach the entrance, and he tries to free himself.]

Sakura-san... Wait! I think I see a clue!

Er... ((A low sort of whisper.)) Okay, well grab it I'll meet you outside!

((PEACE BAWS. Going to pretend she was totally not apart of that now. Outside. Of the bar. Preferably a lot further from it than she would normally wait.

[Lee dashes out fairly quickly with an opened bottle of sake in hand.]

Look, Sakura-san! This was open and on an empty table! And this is the exact type of sake that Gai Sensei loves to drink! [Right down to the bottle that's identical to his medicine bottle.] I must not have been too quick to find him after all. But... [He stares at the bottle.] there is only one way to find out for sure.

((Oh man don't leave her in suspense, bro. She stares.))

To sample it! Lightly, of course. Just enough so that if Gai Sensei has drunken from it, I will be able to tell from his backwash.

[A method more reliable than even Kiba and Akamaru's noses. He holds up the bottle in preparation.]

Well.. Alright, whatever floats your boat, Lee.

If I'm right... this could float the boat to our senseis, Sakura-san!

[He smiles from her and then takes the lightest sip. He immediately sets the bottle down... and his cheeks glow red.]

Lee, are you okay? ((Squinting at him just a little; might just be a lot of worried.))

[He squints and starts to stagger around. He doesn't hear Sakura. Instead he talks to the bottle in a whining voice.

Gai Senseiii. Why aren't you in this bottle? Where are you, Gai Senseiiii? [He focuses on the closest wall.] Is that you, Gai Sensei?! [He immediately rushes forward and punches through the wall.]
