Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test drive for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[It isn't very ladylike to stare. Faith Long is very aware of that simple fact of decent manners.

However, there are so many strange, wonderful things in this world, she knows she's doing it. She's at least trying to pretend she's not. There are more colours than she can think to describe, and the pad of paper in front of her is filled with half sketches of people, fashion, and creatures unlike anything she's ever seen before.

She doesn't fancy herself as an artist with graphite and parchment, though she's not half bad. But what she wants is the general impression. She can stitch it later, find thread the precise hues she needs and immortalise it that way. That, she knows she's very good at.

Of course, being so intent on catching those immediate impressions and not bein seen by the ones she stares at... she's not paying attention to most of her immediate surroundings.]

Aye, doesn't that sound grand? It can't be a proper hunt without some wounds to show fer it!

[Constance Astin has found her way to the grocery store. It's not like any marketplace she's ever been to, and, eventually, she's at the fruits. Many of them, she knows, but there are certainly things that have never been on her father's table before.

So, what's a young lady to do save sample each one, even if they're not foreign to her? A raspberry here, a grape there. The kiwi is a particularly interesting thing... she isn't quite sure if it's like a peach and to be bitten into or like an orange and to be peeled.

But she keeps one on hand for when she can find out.]

[Unfortunately for our hero, Ilyana is one of Luceti's most ravenous eaters, and her grocery list has nearly 50 bags worth of food on it. Indeed, she's already making him carrying probably more than a man his size rightly should.]

He had tried to talk with the bear before attacking it, but despite being able to talk, it did not seem to have signs of human intelligence. So it wasn't a person.. maybe. But his priority would have to be getting that boy to safety before the grizzly comes again.]

[It's not a tavern like anything she's used to, but there are people enough, and there's alcohol.

No different than Gibraltar, save the wings and lack of money. The first is very odd, the second a great relief.

Still, it never hurts to be on the good side of the proprietor of such places nor to know what sort of customers such a place brings. So, Charlotte has paid a visit to Good Spirits.

She hasn't yet ordered a drink, but that certainly is in the plan. For now, she's watching interactions, still convinced there must be some sort of barter system in place.

Nothing is free, after all. The world doesn't work like that.]

[Henry didn't have a problem with self defence or beating it up. That wasn't the case. Just the fact of killing something that could talk was not a good thing. But it didn't seem like this guy was listening.]

[Harry's more or less not quite sure what to make of himself. He's standing in the village with a raised eyebrow, glancing over his shoulder and flapping his wings curiously.

Okay, enough of that. Harry's more or less going to be found skulking around the village.

b.) He'll pop into the grocery store, picking up some food for lunch.
c.) He'll pop into a clearing in the forest, practicing some spells and trying to test his limits.
d.) He'll pop back into the center of town to sit at the fountain, flipping through his new journal and poking it suspiciously. ]

This really, really isn't the greatest time for me to be here. [Annnd we're back to staring at the wings. Yeah, these are going to be real helpful in destroying the horcruxes.]

[But then the bear is rushing forward in a blind rage, so Fergus tries to shove the boy out of the way and, instead of trying to stab it, he raises his arm to take the slash.]

[And the blind rush of the bear makes Henry just throw himself out of the way, the shove is enough to send him flying behind some rocks. He'll peak out from behind them though as he looks out.]
