Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[ She smirks, and this time, she kisses him on the cheek. Then she turns and continues walking ahead of him. ]

[This sucks. He looks down at the ground and burns a bright red when she lands her own kiss, growling again in defeat. Have a heart. Bah. So what.]

What do you mean 'trick'? What trick?!

Oh come on!

[ She covers her mouth, trying to stifle a laugh. ]

Oh, boohoo! Vegeta laughed at me! I really can't believe it worked!

[misterbrief]

What!? You! That isn't fair, you know! How could you?! [WAS SHE LYING TO HIM NOW OR DID SHE REALLY SUCCESSFULLY TRICK HIM...]

No way, I don't buy it! You were completely upset and you know it, don't you lie to me, I know you better than that!

Are you sure about that?

[ She looks back over her shoulder and sticks her tongue out at him, before winking. Apparently, all those mischievous genes didn't come solely from Vegeta. ]

[misterbrief]

Ah-! Yes I'm sure! You devilish woman, get back here! [He catches back up to her again. Honestly, the nerve of this woman-!]

It doesn't matter anyway because I don't remember even saying such a thing! [So there!]

That's okay! I'll remember it forever! Underneath all that... [ What even is it? ] Vegeta, is a really big softy!

[ She links her arm with his and rests her head on his shoulder, laughing. ]

Don't worry, I won't tell anyone! For now...

[misterbrief]

Soft?! I'm not soft! H-Hey!



[He just lets out an exasperated sigh when she links her arm with his, and he instinctively pulls her in closer, even though he's totally done with her antics.

But even so...]

Yeah, yeah, whatever. No one would believe you anyway, woman. I've made sure of that. [His wife. Can't live with her, can't live without her.]

Yeah, you're probably right.

[ Sometimes she can barely believe it herself, really... ]

[He chuckles softly, pretty happy despite that fiasco they'd just suffered through. He still doesn't understand how they get along at the end of the day, but they usually do- and he's not going to argue about that.]

Let's go home, shall we? [And then when she's not looking, he's sneaking out and getting his own food...he'll get her back yet for this.]

[ She nods. Honestly, she's not even hungry anymore after all of that... But, that doesn't mean she's forgotten. ]

And just so you know... [ She gives him a cheerful smile. ] You can cook dinner as soon as the store's restocked.

You want me to what? [EXCUSE YOU.]

I'm not cooking anyone's dinner. That's your job.

Suit yourself! I'm on vacation.

[misterbrief]

Fine by me. I'll just go to the restaurant instead then! [Nevermind he's been actually trying to learn to cook in her absence. He's leaving out all the stuff he's burned in the past ten months. He can make toast and use the microwave. Maybe boil noodles.]

Since when do you go out to restaurants?! And this place actually has one? Could have fooled me...

[ She huffs loudly, turning her nose up. ]

I don't even think I believe you! I bet that you'll be begging me to cook you something by tomorrow.

[misterbrief]

We'll see about that. [HE HAD TO GO SOMEWHERE FOR A DECENT MEAL EVENTUALLY...] This place does have one in fact, and I daresay it's better than any of that slop you serve.

[Not true. But he's being a jackass.]

Is that so? Well, I hope it's as good as you say, because you can go ahead and eat there from now on!

[ And definitely take her there on a date, which she will demand the next time they aren't arguing. ]

[misterbrief]

[Dates? He doesn't do dates.]

I think I will. I happen to like the sushi their cook makes. I don't see you making a whole lot of that at home, now do you? [He loves sushi!]

[ HE WILL... one way or another, he will. ]

Oh, you want sushi? Why didn't you just say so? I'll give you sushi.

[ And what a glorious day it will be, when she dumps a dead fish and a pile of rice in his lap, and calls it a night. ]

[misterbrief]

[He doesn't like the way she's saying that. He wonders what shenanigans she had in mind.] Oh no, I don't want to eat anything you've poisoned, so I'll just get it from somewhere I know is much safer to eat at. For all I know you've got an entire bottle of rat poison waiting just for me somewhere in that kitchen.

Excuse me?

[ REALLY? She doubts rat poison would even work on him, but even so, how dare he accuse her of something like that? ]

Now you're saying I'd poison you? Get real, Vegeta! At least you got the rat part right.

[misterbrief]

How dare you refer to me as a rat! If you were anyone else I'd be throwing you through the nearest house right now for a statement like that! [Are they walking with their arms still linked? They still are aren't they.]

[ They are! Since it was so very close to not being totally serious. At that point though, she doesn't actually let go of him, but she does pull away so she's no longer leaning on him. ]

Why don't you just go ahead, then? Just make sure you throw me far enough so that I can't hear your stupid voice anymore!

[Well, if she insists.]

[In one fluid motion, he scoops her right up off the ground, so she's being cradled in his arms. Which, he can easily change to a throwing position anytime he wants.]

I'd be careful what you wish for. You just might get it, after all.
