Reserves are open and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

[Tenten is completely bundled up because Land of Fire? Yeah she's not used to there being a foot of snow on the ground. She hadn't quite given up on the dexterity in her hands, though, so her gloves are still the same black fingerless ones as always, though she's got a cloak, scarf, earmuffs, and ice skates.

...Hang on, ice skates?

Yep, she's currently twirling around out there on one of the frozen lakes, slipping and landing on her butt a few times, but still laughing and looking like she's having the time of her life.

You know, practicing throwing knives at the trees around her while on skates. Got to learn how to use her weapons in all environments, right? Safety first!

So be careful on the approach. Or walking anywhere near.]

There's a snowball flying towards the back of your head. Also if you look around quick enough you can probably see a blond haired figure darting behind a tree and snickering away]

Not expecting that at all, the sudden impact to the back of her head sends her flying forward, feet slipping out from under her as she skids across the ice with a loud yelp. Without looking behind her, she just hurls the kunai that had been in her hand back toward whoever'd hit her with-- wait, was that a snowball?

Catching sight of him as he ducks behind the tree, she growls and scrambles upright to skate toward him.]

Naruto!

[She's gonna kill you.]

[Oh shit he wasn't meant to be seen. He debates running, but it's slippery, so opts for just climbing up into the tree.]


Oh- H-haha hey Tenten! Fancy seeing you here! [Ha ha ha... welp]

[Oh hey she is definitely twirling a kunai around one finger. Bet she could hit that branch you're standing on.]

Neji approached the lakeshore fearlessly, despite the flying weapons - why wouldn't he? She'd been flinging various pointed objects at him for years, and he'd always found the pastime to be a perfectly safe one. She was too good for anything else.

He had a pair of skates tied by the laces and draped over his shoulder; between throws, when he was least likely to have to make a sudden dodge, he called out, "Care for some company?"

She'd just drawn yet another kunai when she heard Neji's voice, turning to face him with a bright smile and just slowly letting herself skate backwards. All those years of balance and coordination training were paying off, huh?

"If you think you can keep up!" she taunted good-naturedly, slipping the kunai away and pushing off with her toe to skate toward him.

"Oh, I believe I can." He had his own grace and balance, and he'd done this last winter, too.

His reward had been the cat who lazed around his apartment.

He settled himself on a convenient fallen log to change from boots to skates, then stepped out onto the ice to join her. "Are you doubting me, Tenten?" His tone was teasing, a smirk on his lips.

"Me, doubt you? Never." She laughed again and clasped her hands comfortably behind her back, casually skating backwards to keep up with him. As long as she didn't think about it too much, she was alright.

"So you've done this before, huh?"

Either that, or he was just being a natural genius at everything. Again.

[Rock Lee has decided to join her today for this ice expedition. There he is, wearing just a thermal version of the jumpsuit, a flack jacket and oversized gloves.

He is also slipping and stumbling around, himself. But that is also partly because he is not wearing any ice skates at all.

After his latest fall, he stands up proudly.]

Don't you see, Tenten? If I can master moving on this terrain, such dexterity could prove to be the key to finally overcoming Neji!

[Both hands on her hips, she turns smoothly on the ice, nearly slipping before managing to catch herself and make it look like a more natural motion.]

Lee, it's ice! Unless you've got spikes in your shoes, neither've you are going to have the advantage! You'll both just fall flat on your faces!

What we've gotta do is fine some place that sells boots with a retractable blade on the bottom! That'll give you the advantage!

[Oh Tenten, you and your silly logic. Lee's flustered by the point she makes, and he stumbles a bit in trying to hold onto his footing.]

That would be... an unfair advantage! I can never achieve proper victory with bladed footwear.

Trust me, Tenten. The secret to this, to obtaining all true advantages, will be hardwork! If I work hard enough, perhaps one day I will be known as the Sage of Walking on Ice!

[She's not sorry, just laughing and skating backwards to hurl another one into a branch above his head. Hey, maybe it'll dislodge some snow on his head! If it does, it totally isn't her fault. Just saying.]

[The second kunai hits the tree, causing that huge, monstrous heap of snow to fall right on his head, interrupting his retort. Now he is totally covered in snow and colder than he was before. Karma doesn't like someone today.]

[He glares at her, yanking the kunai out of the tree that's in front of him, and throws it at her. Catch it!]

I couldn't do the RtN thing to you yet~!

[True, it got chilly in Konoha, but actual snow and the like was pretty much unheard of. However, Hinata is adapting as best she can. Especially, since she's heard that the act of ice skating would keep her in shape during the snowy months.

She followed the sounds of her friend's laughter all the way down to the lake and made it nearly to the shore before she was almost sliced open by a kunai coming too close to her face. It was only her quick reflexes that saved her.]

I...I suppose that will teach me to pay closer attention around you, Tenten-san.

Tenten just laughs again and clasps her hands behind her back, skating backwards to watch the younger girl.]

I will keep that in mind next time, but yes, I brought my skates with me.

[Hinata sits down on a fallen log to put the things on, forcing a little chakra to the blades instinctively to keep upright as she tentatively steps out on the ice. She wobbles a bit before finding her center of balance and pushing off with sure, even strides.]

We could use this as a training exercise.

[Ino's not in her usual sexy attire either. In fact, she's also all bundled up in a purple coat, white scarf and white earmuffs. She's doing her weekly patrol around the village, something she decided to do in her spare time, when she chances upon the other Konoha kunoichi.

Okay, she can't help but laugh and shake her head in amusement when Tenten lands on her butt.]

[Landing on the ice hurts, okay, even if she's using a kunai in one hand to gouge the ice and stop her spin. Using Chakra is cheating for this, after all!]

Ino! [A wave as she pushes herself back to her feet, pretending like she hadn't just fallen. Again. And just tosses the kunai with a careless flick to one of the other targets she'd set up behind her to use it to push herself toward the other kunoichi.] C'mon, you can't be serious that this is only my team, can you?

[Reminder of the fact that as crazy as she thinks her team is, she's right at home beside them.]

[With her gaze, Ino follows the path of the kunai Tenten just threw and then turns to smile at her.]

I'm serious. You can't possibly pin this one on mine when I'm teammates with our laziest ninja.

[Of course, she's just kidding since Shikamaru had come a long way but it's not as if they do daily training on different terrains. She's not teammates (or is a student of) the most impossibly hardworking shinobi of their village either. And while, here, her team also do training since all three of them are present as well, they're not doing things on the extreme.]

[ For a guy who's six feet tall and all skin and bones, Lea handles the cold surprisingly well - he does come from a chilly, mountainous climate after all, which probably explains his delicate pale skin and red hair. Or, you know, being an expert in Fire magic has probably amped up his core body temperature over the years. Magical leakage and all that.

He's been exploring the world he's stuck on, so he's dressed to be prepared - gloves, basic jacket with a lot of pockets in case he finds useful things or ~clues~ (or food), hat for protecting his ears, and a yellow checkered scarf that reminds him of one he used to wear back home.

A glint of metal at the corner of his eye is all the warning Lea gets, before his instincts take over: he flings his torso back and down, his hands come down to the ground so that for a moment he is in a full back bridge while something thuds overhead into the tree next to him, and then he is pushing off his feet into a handspring that ends with him on his feet three feet back in a fighting crouch, his hands clenched around air like something should be in them.

Then he registers the teenage girl laughing and skating around on the frozen lake. And throwing knives. ]

H-Hey! [ Lea shouts at her in shock and outrage. ] Kid! What the hell? You tryin' to kill people?

[Well excuse you for getting in the way of her fun. Really, you should be more considerate about where you're walking!

The yell attracts her attention though, and she whirls around on the ice -- not the neatest turn, and maybe she wobbles a bit, but at least she doesn't fall. Instead she pushes off with one foot to move in closer, checking him quickly for injuries, then just shrugging when she didn't see any.]

If I was tryin' to kill people, I'd've hit you with the kunai! [she tosses back with a quick grin, drawing a kunai just to flick into the air, let it twirl, then catch it neatly and slip it away again.] You alright?

[ By now, Lea is so flustered that when the maniac girl approaches, he flinches back as her eyes rove clinically over him. He brings his hands up defensively again when she pulls another knife out just to throw it around and look scary.

Is Lea having traumatic flashbacks to a certain blonde sociopath he once knew? Maybe he is. ]

M-Me alright? - I mean, what the hell, "you alright?" What kind of lunatic does weapons training in a public area?

[ Alright, alright, she's clearly some sort of ridiculous young ninja prodigy, like that Kisaragi girl back home. Probably not a sadist or murderer, just young and cocky with just that special touch of "i'm-young-and-therefore-immortal." Ah, yeah, Lea was young and immortal once.

Lea coughs and stands suddenly out of his defensive crouch, blows on his fingers as if to warm them, rubs the back of his neck. Way to make a suave and capable first impression, just because he didn't expect all the fighty-fighty to have made it out here. ]

A-anyway. Whatever, it's fine. Wouldn't be the first time I've been hit with sharp projectiles.
