The battle dome is the most technologically advanced area in the village that Killy can find, and even then it feels incredibly primitive. He hasn't experienced much in the way of holograms that can cause physical damage, but the method of their creation is more simple than he might have expected.

He stands in front of one of the terminals now, casually scanning the area with his eyes before reaching into his clothing and pulling out several thin wires with connectors on the ends. He hooks these directly into the machine, and the lights at that particular terminal flicker several times. For a few moments it seems like that's all that's going to happen.

Then the power in the whole dome shuts off at once.

The wires are removed, and he frowns in the now darkened room. It looks like that information won't be as easy to retrieve as he'd thought after all.
