Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

[He glances over. Good. She's finally quiet. He's tired of arguing anyway, really. It takes a lot of energy, which is something he's got an ample supply of too- but he's all puttered out for the moment on that.

Before they exit the woods, before anyone can see them, he'll stop for a second since he's managed to calm himself down after all that fighting. He's gotten...better at this in his old age, and unless she pulls away from him he'll just give her a quick peck on her cheek, not looking as hard as he usually does; but then switches back to super-tsun mode and glares daggers at her and continues forward whether she follows or not because he's really hungry now and if she doesn't want to come with him then he doesn't care.

He will also profusely deny later in front of anyone that he kissed her at all.]

[ She doesn't pull away, but after that, she does fall into an almost stunned silence for a moment. Despite all her feelings for him, despite living together, despite how much he's changed even since Trunks was born, she's still surprised. For all the things she hates about Luceti so far... Maybe it's not so bad?

She's not sure what had to have happened to bring about even more change, maybe it was Bulla. Regardless of what it was, it gives her just the slightest bit of hope that she didn't have even a few moments ago. Even if they all go home, and don't remember any of this, things will be okay.

Even if she does want to strangle him sometimes.

After a moment of quiet introspection, she smiles, and starts after him again. ]

[He glances over to notice she'd actually bothered to catch up to him. Well, why wouldn't she, he is her husband, and she'd be stupid not to do what he said~ at least he thinks so.]

So you're bothering to come after all, huh? Don't think that I'm not still irate with you for that little stunt you pulled back there. [Just clearing that up! STILL MAD.]

Yeah, well don't think you're out of the woods either!

[ You know, the figurative ones. ]

It's going to take more than a little kiss to make up for your attitude!

Is that so? And what exactly did you think you were going to do to get me to make it up to you, huh? [Good luck, he's gotten really good at this game over the years!]

[ She's using the haughtiest tone she can muster while pointedly looking away. ]

You're the one with all great ideas, right? You can just put those to good use and figure out what to do on your own.

[misterbrief]

[See this shit-eating grin on his face? He's not even trying to hide it.]

My, aren't someone's feathers a little ruffled. Well, I'm not very motivated to do anything at all with that attitude you've got.

I guess that means no one's doing anything!

[ She shrugs, sparing just a glance over to see that grin, before looking away again. ]

I've got half a mind to take my attitude elsewhere, where it would be appreciated.

[ Okay, so "appreciated" is a pretty huge overstatement. Maybe "tolerated" or simply "misunderstood" would have been more accurate. ]

Oh really? Like where? [Toooootally still looking at her with that cocky smile. Now he's just being a huge brat.] I'm interested to know.

[ Another shrug. Only this time, she smirking. ]

You know that Goku's here in Luceti, right?

[misterbrief]

Yes, I'm perfectly aware that moron has made his way here. What's your point. [....She's evil and he knows where this is going.]

My point, Vegeta, is that maybe I'll just go visit Goku, since my company obviously isn't appreciated here!

[misterbrief]

What, so you can go talk about what he had for lunch all day? Yes, that sounds riveting, especially when there's no food to be had. I'm sure you'll have a great time. [His arms fold again, and he smirks again, giving her that 'you really don't want to go see him, do you' look.]

[ She really doesn't (no offense, Goku!), but she's not going to make that obvious. She'll keep her smirk, thanks. ]

Oh, because standing around listening to you talk about how mad you are is SO much more interesting! Please!

Better than watching some clown stuff his face in front of you! Besides, if you didn't want to stick around, you'd of left already, now wouldn't you of. But here you are, still running your mouth here with me instead.

Hmf. [He sets himself back with those arms of his still crossed, pretty smug with himself.

You're impossible, you know that? Would it kill you to stop being a jerk for five seconds?

[ Now she's actually considering it. ]

[No, he can't. Not while they're out in public, at least. His hand finds his hip and he smiles devilishly at her. This is one of his favorite things to do, tease her endlessly because getting her goat is far too much fun. You'd think the stick up his ass would be too far for him to pull this kinda stuff, but he's learned to let it go a little- and have a little fun.

Besides, he's always been a fan of schadenfreude.]

Yes, it would. [If he couldn't make it more clear he's teasing her, he does the brattiest thing he can think of- and sticks just the smallest part of his tongue out at her, still smiling like a jerk.

Where the hell do you think Trunks gets it from.]

[ It's hard to say what irritates her more, him just being jerk normally, or him purposefully trying to get her riled up. She should really know better than to actually get worked up over it.

BUT OF COURSE, she does. Though she has the sense to try not to show it. Not that she's good at hiding her feelings, especially from him. ]

I guess you're right.

[ She's trying to keep her voice even, but her eyebrow is twitching. ]

I'm going home. Goodbye, Vegeta!

[Wait for it...wait for it...

There's a small amount of silence before he just busts out laughing. Complete amused laughter, not malicious or spiteful, just...amused. Look at her! She's so mad, that eyebrow of hers, look at it, he really got her!]

Aaahahhahaha! You should see the look on your face right now! Oh my, ahaha, you're pretty cute when you're angry, after all, haahahaa!

[ He just HAD to throw a compliment like that in while laughing like a huge idiot! Of course she's angry, but her face is also just the slightest shade of pink after being called cute. ]

[ She'd probably punch him in the face if she didn't know that it would probably just make it all funnier to him. At this point, she's so angry that she's at a total loss, so she'll just ignore him and start for home with angry tears forming in the corners of her eyes. ]

[Maaaaaybe he went a little too far. In fact, he's pretty sure he did, and of course he doesn't really realize it until it's too late. Well maybe she shouldn't get so angry with him, it was just a joke after all. That's what he tells himself, but he knows that laughing at her like that was probably the reason she was so upset.

Yeah, he screwed up and he knows it, but he's not going to admit it right away. Too proud. However, he comes up behind her and (hopefully without retribution) put his arm around her so his right hand is wrapped around holding her right shoulder, leaning over slightly to look right at her. He is completely prepared to get hit just in case.]

Now, you're not really that upset just because I said you looked cute, are you? [His tone is slightly agitated, acting like this totally isn't his fault at all even though it totally is his fault.]

[ There's no retaliation, and she doesn't shrug him off either. But, she does look away. She's not even sure if she's still angry at him anymore, actually. The old Vegeta would have probably laughed at her and stalked off to go train or something by now. So, she's a little caught off guard that he's sort of apologizing? Again?

Until he speaks, that is. ]
