[The grocery store may be out of food but the woods aren't. And the cleric is bound and determined to bring something back to the town before night falls. She's used to the routine of scouting, searching and tracking down prey thanks to the recent journey of hers.

Right now she's crouched up in the boughs of a tree, a hand pressed against the truck and the other pressed against the limb beneath her as she waits in almost stony silence. Had she seen movement in the bushes below? Her muscles tense, waiting.]

[Its another boring night in Luceti, but Deadpool has decided to spice things up. And by that, he of course means causing a general ruckus and being a nuisance. He's been pulling pranks and messing with people the whole evening. He is always happy to have company, whether those who want to hurt him, or help him in his endeavors.]

Why trying to sucker people into gambling of course. After all, what goes better with booze than gambling? So in the middle of town, Angelo has set up a large table that appears to resemble one for poker or card games in general. Though he'll also consider setting up other games should people show interest. What are your prizes for winning? Well, step up and see if you can test your luck.]

And that is why she is now rolling on the ground at the base of the fountain, shrieking in agony, and yet... Moving that fistful of feathers into her mouth. She has to make sure they aren't tasty. ]

Yep, she's currently twirling around out there on one of the frozen lakes, slipping and landing on her butt a few times, but still laughing and looking like she's having the time of her life.

You know, practicing throwing knives at the trees around her while on skates. Got to learn how to use her weapons in all environments, right? Safety first!

Alternatively, he might swoop in and ferry you out of danger in a very heroic princess carry! ...or maybe he caught you in his talons by the back of your clothes or something if you were falling to your doom. That also works.]

But Haru doesn't look terribly impressed, even if he's being saved from bears. Apparently bears mind people swimming in rivers that happen to have the fish they want. Who knew?

That said, he's grateful for the help -- as much as he hates to admit it, being in the water with an angry bear is probably not a good idea -- even if it means all his clothes (other than the swimwear he's wearing) have been left behind. But his thanks is something he can voice when he's not being carried by a... bird... person...

All things considered, though, Haru's probably the calmest rescuee ever. He doesn't wriggle, he doesn't complain, he doesn't shout, he doesn't ask questions. He just hangs onto his saviour with his arms so he doesn't fall.]

I wish I had some help, but it's not like those guys would have any idea what to look for. What do I tell them? Little stones that can evolve Pokémon past their current forms? d. Peering in the windows of the bakery and the other food shops around town, jotting down entries onto a notepad as he goes. Hey, if Ed really thinks they have a shot at getting his body back here, maybe it won't be too long until he can try some of these things!

[Arnaud G. Vasquez is not having a good day. There's getting seperated from the team - by his own doing, nonetheless! There's (presumably) getting his ass kicked afterwards. Or at least that's his assumption - it all gets a bit fuzzy from there, see. He's not sure how he ended up in this house, but the bed's certainly a cozy one. ... Well, that is, if he were on it anyway. Somehow or another, he seems to have ended up under said bed instead.

Unfortunately, the bizarre change in scenery still hasn't registered to Arnaud yet, as he tries lifting his head. That's certainly one hell of a headache he's woken up with. And it only gets worse as he accidentally bumps it against the frame!]

Ow! [Immediately he rubs his head.] Jeez, that hurt...

You know, I'd make an argument that life here's not all so bad. Maybe a little cramped, and I'll admit the occasional shifts get annoying. Have to say there's not much places I've seen that offer food and a place to sleep free of charge, though. Also nice to hear they let us do some work around here with those missions that pop up.

Now, whole "mandatory therapy" thing? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure everyone needs it now and then. But you really have to admit our "kind hosts" have a really questionable hiring process. I don't know about you, but I can't seriously buy the fact that all they had available was a kid barely pushing her teens. ... Actually, not even her teens. Kid looks like she's barely eight.

Is there even a point to all of it? Because I don't see why we ought to be pouring our hearts out to a grade schooler just so we can earn some points.

That's why he's taken to wandering the streets, even late at night. He's wearing his military uniform, but hey, at least he didn't equip the 3D maneuver gear and his swords. That would've been overkill for a nighttime stroll.

He slows to a stop when his gaze falls on a man who seems to be having some trouble walking. Is that guy drunk? No... No hang on, he looks hurt. Without even a moment of hesitation, he dashes over there to inspect the stranger.]

[Rain. Waking up in a strange forest when he was supposed to be fighting in the climax of a war to decide the fate of their entire world had been irritating. Learning that someone had stripped him and put him in ridiculous white pants had been a minor annoyance. That he somehow had seemingly useless wings fully attached to his back, nerves and all, was confusing. But that it had started to rain on him as he made his way toward the village was enough to have a brow twitching-a subtle break in a rather entirely calm demeanor.

By the time he made it to the outskirts of the village, he was cold, and worse he was wet, looking a bit like a drowned raccoon rather than the proud Kazekage.]

[He had finally found it, randomly sitting in the corner of a small store. His gourd. Like it was just some casual item to be snatched by the first curious looker. And as insulting as it seemed, it was the hand reaching toward his gourd that had red lining his vision. Without thinking, the cork on the gourd scattered in a puff of dust and sand oozed out of the gourd to wrap around the curious arm like a snake made of sand.]

If you value your arm, you will move it away from my gourd.

[While the days of threatening limbs had been far behind him, at seeing someone else attempt to casually touch something so entirely intimate to him had him momentarily reverting. That was his sand, infused with his chakra, the hint of blood lingering on the sand used to crush more bodies than he could count. At least he had enough restraint to give some warning first.]

[Shikamaru reacts with less fear of the sand than there would have been when he was twelve. Irritatingly calm, is more like it.]

Shiki Misaki | The World Ends With You

[When she first woke up in the white, knee-length dress she wasn't sure if she wanted to laugh or if she wanted to cry. It had been so long since she'd last seen the village that--

--well. She had initially thought everything was a dream. The little flashes of the village. The friends she'd made. The war. The experiments. They were all just crazy dreams, but now that she was back she knew it wasn't true. She knew she'd been here before, was here for years in fact, and she'd seen so many of her friends come and go; she was only a little disturbed by the fact that this time? She was on the other side.

She wasn't even sure if anything was the same. Were her friends still there? The first thing she did was visit the items shop, immediately digging through bins and barrels and shelves of things looking for the one constant she knew had to have traveled with her. Despite the fact she was more confident now, she still needed that little something...and there. A small stuffed black cat. She cradled the toy in her arms and headed out to disappear into the main part of the village. She wasn't going to head for House 10. She couldn't, not yet. She wanted to wait to see what would happen over the next couple of hours before she would seek out those she'd left behind in that house. Haruhi. Beat. Rhyme.

...part of her wondered about others, too. But she didn't stop. Instead she marched down the street down a familiar path to a building across from the fountain, a small smile brightening her face when she saw the building standing there.

All Passions. Her pride. Her joy. Her...apparently abandoned shop.

...she frowned then, placing a hand on her hip as she examined the building. Well that's just great. Anyone passing by might spot that bright pink-red hair of hers and the stupid stuffed cat dangling from her hand as she continues to gawk at the building. No, really. She'll be there for a while.]

...seriously? Seriously? [She sighed.] At least I've got a little time before the winter.

[Well, to be fair, the shop isn't as entirely abandoned as it seems. On the inside are some clothes hanging up on racks and a few accessories on shelves. It isn't much, but Rhyme's been trying hard to keep the shop in stock with what Shiki had left from last years lines.

Being out of commission for roughly six months because of the use of her hands being taken away, Rhyme hasn't been able to work on making clothes to fill the shop back up. It hasn't helped that she lost the one volunteer she had a few months back.

But with the use of her hands back now, she's been working hard to make up for the time she lost by practicing and learning how to be a better sewer with only the basic sewing skills that Shiki taught her that she has under her belt. Of course she won't be able to actually work on the designs and unfinished projects Shiki left behind for a little bit longer because of her lack of skill but... she'll get there.

In all honesty, finally being able to run the shop properly and trying to work to fill in Shiki's shoes... the very thought has been nerve wracking. Not enough to stop her from trying, but it's enough to make her feel nervous about it. Shiki was a natural at sewing, at designing and Rhyme... she was no where near as talented as the other, she has never had experience like this. And to have to become like her, to fill this shop up like her, even though she wanted to be able to do it, it was scary.

But she had to believe that she could do it. If she practiced, she could hone her skills, if she took her time, she could get better. Practice makes perfect, haste makes waste. Right. And besides, she knew Shibuya's fashion trends and styles by heart, she knew how to at least sew a little and could even study Shiki's designs to help her create more when she was ready.

Right. She can do this.

Rhyme is on her way to the shop to open it up for the day when she spots a certain red haired girl standing right in front of it. She can't help but blink for a moment before a smile spreads across her face]

Shiki!! [Oh and, Rhyme is fifteen now, so she looks a little older. Her hair is about the same length as before and she's a little taller too]

Hector | Castlevania: Curse of Darkness

[Since his youth, Hector prided himself on a decent tolerance for pain. Bruises, weeping lesions, headaches that hammered against the inside of his skull. He shouldered them with a dash of acquired grace. No matter the severity, time always eased them, and he would resume his life with not a hair out of place.

But this?

This had him grinding his teeth like a devil from the bowels of the underworld, had him half hunched as he staggered out of the woods and into the sunlight. He looked up through squinted eyes, the noise of the village guiding him. These damned wings had been nothing but trouble. He'd heard rumors of the agony an injured wing could inflict, and until he'd tumbled from the canopy of the apple tree, he'd disregarded them entirely. By this time, he'd have rather lopped off his legs.

Hector dreaded returning to the village, returning into the crowds of people. He needed prompt aid, though, and the stones and squirrels weren't about to give it. Ignoring the commanding throb beating his shoulder blade and the distrust percolating into his veins, he trudged down the path to civilization.]

But regardless he was enjoying himself, going through down and staring at all the things that are in the windows of the shops. A few shops in particular such as anything that has to do with food.

Because really. This guy is always hungry.

So feel free to catch him wandering about or staring at food or something of the sort. And of course, he has Pikachu by his side doing the same thing as him. Best bros forever yo. ]

[America is flying around, constantly looking over her shoulder at her light blue, pointed wings. They're just there, sticking out uselessly, not even flapping or anything. I mean, America can fly on her own, she doesn't need them, but if they're going to give her wings they might as well give her ones that flap. She seems rather upset by this, but that doesn't stop her from flying around, exploring this new environment.]

[America stands in the middle of a clearing, arms spread wide, trying to summon the power to kick her way out of this messed up forest dimension. Unfortunately, the only things glowing are the tattoos on the insides of her wrists, not the ground in front of her. After a moment in which nothing happens, she opens her eyes, lets out a frustrated yell, and turns, punching the tree behind her. A huge chunk of bark goes flying, but the tree stays standing. This too seems to frustrate America. Shaking her head, she turns, closes her eyes, spreads her arms, and begins to try again.]

[He'd just been walking through the woods, honest. Hadn't meant to sneak up on or spy on her. But he'd seen the glow first, and it had piqued his curiosity, which meant he had to check things out.

And... sure, okay, stomping the ground with that kind of light show without anything following it? Kind of a let-down. But by her reaction, it's pretty clear that something was supposed to happen. Billy is about to call out and ask if she's okay when she punches the tree, which means that he has to duck before he's blindsided by flying wood. As a result, his call is less of a "hello" and more of an inelegant "gah!"

Best first impression ever, yep.]

An empty can catches his eye, and he knocks it off the shelf in irritation, then kicks it across the floor for good measure.]

It's really all gone... [There's a thoughtful voice coming from one of the aisles. It seems like she's talking to herself.] I wonder if it ended up in an alternate universe by mistake?

[Erika's only pulled out of her weird thoughts when the empty can rolls into her path.]

[He'd only awoken a short while ago, and now he was outside the little house he'd woken up in. His cloak cast a shadow over his face. This was not the West Block, and it definitely wasn't Lost Town or Chronos. This place reminded him a little bit of his native homeland. It was a quaint village with many trees and a river nearby. There was a small walking bridge a moderate distance away. He was clearly not where he was supposed to be.]

[A small walking bridge.... and a passerby walking over it, carrying what seems to be a cloth bag filled with groceries if Nezumi looks closely enough to see the bread sticking out. The white haired stranger seems to pause in step though, glancing towards Nezumi with a curious look, lingering on his... pants, oddly enough, before walking over.

The white pants were a dead giveaway of a newcomer, after all.] Hello.

[Although she's wrapped in a dark brown cloak and wearing clothes meant to keep her warm as opposed to helping her look good, what is most striking about this girl is her long and vivid red hair. Personality? One word for you all -- Tsundere.

[This was barely better than trudging outside of the snow. A sigh passed through her lips as the teenager seated herself at the bar, not really liking the smell of the drink in the place but at the same time not having a choice. It wasn't as if it was any warmer outside, and she needed the shelter before she froze to death. There was never anything like that... Snow? Snow, in Belcrest...

That's about when she notices the barkeeper, and after some struggling with the menu (what kind of place didn't have heated ale or cider??) she ended up ordering a strange thing called 'hot chocolate'. Whatever that was. So it was while she waited that she noticed someone sitting next to her, a frown lining her face before she looked forward with the intent of ignoring said person. Maybe, just once, she would be lucky enough to be left to her own devices.

[On the journals appears Adela, frowning and a little unsure. Is this strange parchment working? She still isn't certain of it or its magic, but whatever the case she feels like she's in a position where using it is the only option she has left.]

I have yet to see how we are supposed to acquire weaponry in this place. Upon arriving here, I also seem to have...

[The look on her face is pained before she shakes it off, and she re-focuses on the journal in her lap.]

Nevermind. If we cannot order weaponry for use, is there at least ore to mine and a forge for use? I can make one myself if I have to.

There is a smithy and - and no one's making weapons there right now. [he says with a frown, thinking of Sokka's recent departure.] I don't know if there's ore around, but I could show you to the smithy if you want!

A: (Dawn's a Pokémon Coodinator who's learned to take things in stride. So, upon finding out she's been pulled to another world and given wings? ...She'll admit to being surprised at first, but she's calmed down thanks to finding Piplup still by her side.

So, to anyone who knows her personally, she'll be giving her aforementioned wings a once-over - with a smile on her face and Piplup atop her head; she'd tried at least once but discovered to her dismay that she couldn't fly. As she continued to ponder over how effective they would be for Pokémon Contests, Dawn didn't notice that poor Piplup had suddenly slipped off her head while trying to reach for a wing and a heartbeat later the Coordinator turned once hearing the Water Pokémon land in a heap!)

...Huh?! Piplup - are you okay?

Maybe next time you'll be a little more careful? No need to worry; I'll go and get some food to make it up to you-!

(Dawn's stomach chose that moment to grumble to show she was pretty hungry as well, the Coordinator blushing and laughing sheepishly before amending her statement.)

[ As a general rule, Desmond either hates or abso-fucking-lutely loves other bartenders. The guy tending to Good Spirits isn't immune from Desmond's judgement either- if anything, he gets an extra dose of it, particularly when Desmond sidles up to open a tab and gets a tepid 'That won't be necessary, everything is always on the house' in response. There's not even a tip jar.

Desmond's mockingbird-patterned wings ruffle in irritation, which just feels fucking weird, okay, distracting him from launching into an annoyed retort. It's all another symptom of what's wrong with the whole arrangement. Nothing free is well and truly free, and it's hardly cynical of him to think so, not with Connor and the struggles of the Revolution still so fresh in his thoughts.

He eyes the man, settles on a stool and points to a bottle of liquid amber on the top shelf. ]

The Hazelburn. Neat.

[ After the scotch is served up under his watchful eye and the bartender moves on to other patrons, Desmond seems to relax a fraction. If someone decides to park right next to him, he'll even offer more than silence, a friendly enough- ]

Hey. Is it always so cheery around here?

[ Free things might not be free, but potential allies are worth their weight in gold. Maybe he can get them to open up and tell him what he hasn't heard around the place thus far. ]

[ Running with the wings takes some practice. Nothing from his time in the Animus gives him any precedent for handling them, not Ezio's armor, the equipment all of his ancestors wore like a second skin, or Auditore's flashy capes. Though they aren't cumbersome by any means, the working of muscles is different, and when he finds himself tensing to take a leap from roof to roof, or relax to take a landing, they seem to want to open and close of their own accord.

And so he crashes, quite spectacularly, kicking up ice and snow and managing a loud yelp when one of his new appendages decides that actually, buddy, it wants to go in a completely different direction. ]

[Peeta's out and about today with a pink bakery box in his hands, heading into the village to take some of the fruits of his late-night baking sessions to various people. Maybe it's the sleep deprivation, or maybe it's because he's not used to having to look up, but he's completely unprepared for the man who comes crashing down from one of the low rooftops into the snowbank nearby.]

[But the operative term is crash. It's loud, and it's unexpected, and before he knows it the bakery box is lying in the snow, forgotten, and every muscle in Peeta's body has tensed. He's teetering on the edge of fight-or-flight, eyes wide, pupils dilated, hands clenching reflexively into fists.]

[It kind of looks like he's debating whether to bolt or to rip you to pieces, Desmond.]
