Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

▣ TAG IN or reply to others with characters you would like to test flight for Luceti.
▣ ONLY add top-level comments for characters who are not yet in the game. You're free to reply to others with Luceti characters (because that's half the fun) but remember that the whole point of this meme is for potential characters.
▣ PLEASE do not post duplicates of characters already in Luceti.
▣ GO AHEAD and give us a brief description of your character in the top-level comment, along with one or two possible ways to run into your test-driven character around town.
▣ YOU MAY use these threads for your first person samples on your app -- just make sure that you link threads of a goodly length (i.e., threads with at least ten comments from your character).

Need a little help getting started? Remember, you needn't post here as though your character is still brand-spankin' new. It'll probably be more fun for all involved if this isn't a simple dress rehearsal for showing up. Here are a few scenario ideas:

o1. The grocery store is out of food. What do you do?
o2. Wing injury! Call for help or stagger your way to one of our fine clinics.
o3. It's a busy evening at Good Spirits, one of Luceti's local bars. Do you dare try the drink specials?
o4. Have a talent for playing music? Try Cloud Nine's open mic night!
o5. Beach party? Snow party? Leaf-raking party? Gardening party? YOU DECIDE.

Okay. So my examples are pretty non-exciting. But they're really just suggestions. I'm POSITIVE you kids can come up with more creative things.

Above all? HAVE FUN. Oh. And don't forget to RESERVE your characters.

Hey! Let go! [He turns to face her but he's yanking his arm out of her grasp.] Why is it that I have to be the one to explain it to them? What's so difficult for you to inform them? Your mouth seems to be in fine working order as is! Tell them yourself!

BECAUSE THIS WHOLE SITUATION IS YOUR STUPID FAULT IN THE FIRST PLACE! DID YOU MISS THAT POINT, OR DID YOU JUST FORGET?!

[misterbrief]

Hold on just a second! How is this my fault?! How dare you suggest that I'm the reason the whole village is out of food!

[He just...can't believe this]

[ lbr here, he probably helped devour the food supply in the first place. Believe it, Vegeta! He should really be used to everything being his fault by now. ]

Uh, HELLO! YOU'RE THE REASON THAT SITUATION HASN'T BEEN REMEDIED!

[misterbrief]

I'M NOT GOING OUT THERE AND HUNTING FOOD FOR YOU, SO FORGET IT!

[And he turns around, stomps his foot with a loud harrumph, crosses his arms and GIVES HER THE COLD SHOULDER.

NOPE.]

FINE!

[ She mirrors his actions exactly, only she keeps stomping. In fact, she's stomping off toward the woods. ]

[misterbrief]

[Earth women who do they think they are honestly this is unbelievable he can't believe he has to deal with this woman every single day why does he even bother ugh it's just

[He glances back behind him. What.]

What exactly do you think you're doing?

[capsule_corp]

I'M going out to find food!

[ And probably get murdered by wild animals, or whatever else there is in those damn woods! ]

[misterbrief]

Ah-! Go ahead! Go get yourself killed for all I care! [Growl growl what the hell is wrong with her, can't she look for food inside the village instead?]

[capsule_corp]

[ Nope! She can't! She disappears into the trees, and for a moment or two there's blissful silence across the village again.

But of course, it doesn't last long. Bulma's terrified shrieks come ringing through the streets from the forest. ]

[misterbrief]

What? [With no one else around that he knew of to save her, and since they're not exactly in a combat scenario, he grits his teeth and starts running in after her, still yelling.]

You stupid woman, where are you?! [He'll keep running until he finally finds her.]

Oh, so you do care!

[ At first, it might seem like it was all a ploy just to get him out there. She is trying to play it off that way. But if he takes a moment to look at her, the way her chest is heaving as if she was just in a panic, and her disheveled hair... There really was something that elicited the reaction.

Maybe it was something stupid and harmless like a huge bug flying into her hair, but... Still. ]

[misterbrief]

Argh, what, did a little bunny hop out in front of you and frighten you to death? [He stomps right over to her, so irritated that he'd run out here for what was probably absolutely nothing. It figures, it really did.]

Maybe you should think twice before you just go gallivanting off without a clue to what you're doing.

[capsule_corp]

[ She opens her mouth to start up the screaming match again, then stops herself. She turns on her heel and starts walking further into the woods. ]

Why don't you just go home, since this is all beneath the mighty prince Vegeta!!

[misterbrief]

You know you're just going to get lost. [He's not baiting into that. And he thinks she really will get lost.]

[capsule_corp]

I've been adventuring since you were probably still in diapers! I never get lost!

[ Okay, so that's a lie. Without any of her little devices she could probably get lost in a supermarket. But this is a matter of pride!! Or a matter of stubbornness! ]

[misterbrief]

May I remind you that I'm older than you? [Seriously!?]

And yes you will. Don't stand there and tell me that isn't true. You know it just as well as I do, so cut out the stupidity. [He thinks he is being perfectly logical.]

[capsule_corp]

If you're that concerned then hurry up, or I'm leaving you here!

[ Because there she goes! ]

[misterbrief]

What?! Hey! [He easily catches up to her. He can run much, much faster. Then he goes out to grab her arm to stop her from going further out. It's pretty useless, after all.]

Enough. We can find dinner in the village, and not out in this rotting pathetic excuse for a forest. Besides, I know someone who will probably feed us for the time being. Now stop being absurd.

[He doesn't want her getting lost out there anyway :( ]

Well, here's an idea...

[ She grits her teeth, turning to face him. ]

WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST SAY THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE? You know I don't know that much about this place, how was I supposed to know that you actually know anyone here?!

[misterbrief]

I said probably! I don't know that for sure! [MAN THIS IS WHAT HE GETS FOR TRYING TO BE NICE.] Can't you calm down for a moment? I'm giving you a possible solution and all you're going to do is yell in my face! Keep it up and you can forget about even that!

[capsule_corp]

Hn. Fine.

[ She pulls her arm away so she can cross them both again. ]

As usual, we have to do everything your way. So lead the way, oh great problem solver.

[misterbrief]

Stubborn woman. [He will lead the way. Right back to the village.] Why do you have to make everything so difficult.

[capsule_corp]

[ Not only does she not have an answer that doesn't consist of "Well you started it!", honestly, she's tired of arguing about it. And at this point, she'd much rather pout about things not going her way. So, she continues walking next to him in silence. ]

[misterbrief]

[He glances over. Good. She's finally quiet. He's tired of arguing anyway, really. It takes a lot of energy, which is something he's got an ample supply of too- but he's all puttered out for the moment on that.

Before they exit the woods, before anyone can see them, he'll stop for a second since he's managed to calm himself down after all that fighting. He's gotten...better at this in his old age, and unless she pulls away from him he'll just give her a quick peck on her cheek, not looking as hard as he usually does; but then switches back to super-tsun mode and glares daggers at her and continues forward whether she follows or not because he's really hungry now and if she doesn't want to come with him then he doesn't care.

He will also profusely deny later in front of anyone that he kissed her at all.]
