Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

[The ice in her glass clinks as she slides onto one of the stools at the bar. Green eyes are alert and watchful as Natasha scans the interior of Good Spirits, taking in the unfamiliar faces as she does so. She hasn't been here in Luceti long, so the fact that most of the faces are still unfamiliar isn't a surprise.

Despite the careful observation she's giving the room, her posture is relaxed and comfortable as she leans back, legs crossed primly in front of her as she takes a sip of her drink. She doesn't try for being invisible - that's not going to accomplish anything, after all - so instead she settles for looking friendly and curious.

She'll wait and see who comes to her, instead.]

[The thing is, when Natasha wants to be noticeable, she's very noticeable and quite eye catching. So it's not a surprise that Steve's eyes land on her almost immediately when he walks into Good Spirits.

And he's surprised. But it's a good surprise. A very good surprise. The team is starting to come together. He crosses the room and takes the seat next to her, a grin blooming across his face.]

Fancy seeing you here, Agent Romanov.

[Most faces, but not all: Pepper and Natasha have a bit of history, although most of that had come about while the agent had been masquerading as Natalie Rushman from Legal. Things have changed in the years since then, however, and Natasha is one of the ones who saved Manhattan with the newly formed Avengers. That's more than enough reason for Pepper to offer a genuine smile to the other woman.]

Good evening, Agent Romanov. Would you like some company?

[Bucky's not opposed to drinking alone. Steve doesn't drink because there's no point in it for him, and the other commandos are - were - a bunch of lunatics anyway. But... well, he's not opposed to company either.

And he finds it pretty quickly, surprisingly enough. She's drop dead gorgeous, but what really strikes him is the way her gaze settles on him as he approaches the table. Like she knows him. But he knows that's a face he wouldn't forget.] 'Scuse me miss. [He nods at the chair across from her.] This seat taken?

[Billy had just come in for a shake; it's hot today, and he figured it would make a nice treat. He hadn't expected to see the Black Widow sitting at the bar counter.

Ohhhhh god.

He approaches the counter and makes his order, but while he waits he keeps casting glances in her direction, trying (and failing) not to stare in awe.]

[Coulson does not normally drink. At least as far as anyone really knows. Truth be told a good scotch every now and then is helpful when working for SHIELD. If he ever stopped working long enough to have a drink that it.

But since being in Luceti has given him free time, he indulges every now and then in one drink.

The familiar face at the bar was an interesting surprise. Also a good surprise. While the other Avengers and people form home are nice, another SHIELD agent is a relief.

So he heads on over and greets her with a small smile on his face.]

Agent Romanov, good to see you.

[Tattoi hadn't been in Luceti for terribly long - a few months, perhaps - but long enough to look forward to the winter weather. Anything was preferable to the stifling summer heat; even autumn's mild temperatures were an issue for him. Now, though, it was snowing and freezing - just right, he thought.

After an hour or so of roaming through the village and its surroundings, enjoying the chill and the quiet, one might be able to find him at Good Spirits. He's enjoying a nice cup of cold cocoa, as well as a large stack of cookies that he seemingly brought in himself. At either point, he's chatty, relaxed, and as friendly as he's ever been. He may even offer you a cookie.]

[There are ways to react to distress and there are ways not to react to distress but the general, honest opinion of it all is that people react differently so what does it matter? What matters is the situation and the situation involves and food? Food is wonderful, particularly since he came to live in this strange place where people had freak, bird wings and food could be a comfort object. Food like caramel, fucking popcorn. A delicious orgy of flavor in your mouth and damn, it could be better than sex, but that all depends on the partner and once again that's opinion.

What's tragic and where the distress of the situation comes from is that the beautiful place on isle three, right next to the bagged up sweets is where it used to sit so nicely stacked and ready for consumption. The key phrase there was used to because it was gone, all of it gone. It was all he wanted at that very moment and being such a child of id, he wanted it and he wanted it now. He could have alcohol, he could light up but for once in a long time he didn't want to end up piss drunk in a gutter. Was seventeen too old to have a temper tantrum? Certainly not.

So currently, lamenting the loss of his beloved indulgence, Aðal--looking a little disheveled--held to the end of the empty shelf and slammed his forehead dramatically against the empty block.] Why?

[When worlds change normally people have half a mind to realize that but for Aðal sometimes these things don't always hit him immediately because back home? Things like this were fun and fun is a very important aspect of day to day life. When you suddenly have nasty feathers sprouting from your back you crave that familiar taste of home, despite the smog ridden air. Back home he could scale buildings so quickly and hell, it was part of his job but here things are a little different. Maybe it's the fact that he has wings that make him a little dense when considering the jump from one building to another because he's certainly not lighter and they're certainly not helping him any here.

So far he managed to get his elbows and forearms up onto the edge of the rooftop but the issue here is that he can't seem to pull himself up any further because he's tired, and that took a lot of energy--too much, he needs a break or to stop smoking but kids gotta pick his battles. So, huffing and puffing and looking generally like a fool, a fool with asthma to be certain, Aðal's trying to save what's left of his dignity as his feet scramble along the side of the building before calling to whoever.]

Somebody? [A little louder could likely help more--but his pride is a sake here.] Help--just, help.

[So because +1 sensei dragged him into Good Spirits (even if he repeatedly told him that it's a definite no) Minato can be seen looking around. Of course, he has been in local bars before in Konoha but once he became a husband and a father, he resolved that he won't frequent them anymore.

But since he's already here, he'd like to, at least, look presentable. Only he's failing at greeting.]

[Well, it's not like Kushina's around to thump Jiraiya on the head and drag her husband home, so he's gonna take advantage of that!]

[So Sora's taking a nap down on the beach. The sunlight is shining down on him and as he snoozes away. It seems like the perfect day to take a nap doesn't it?

Too bad he was supposed to be helping with that big project here. He is, lying there. It's probably a good time to wake him up.]


Anywhere
[Today, Sora feels like exploring the place. This world was pretty big after all, bigger than most that he went to. So an adventure was what was needed here! He's already packed up what he needs and is getting ready to leave the village. But he's not going alone. He's asked a friend to come along.]

[Tattoi staggers along the beach, wielding a borrowed parasol. He'd been working on that damned project for the entire day, in the blazing summer heat, and nobody had even told him what it was. All they said was "Tattoi, carry this" or "Tattoi, weld that" or "Tattoi, stop spewing cold nitrogen gas out of your vents." It was beginning to get on his nerves.

Thankfully, he'd put in his time for the day, and he was headed home to cool off. Seeing Sora there on the beach made him pause, though; something about this young lad was familiar. Yes, he was one of the ones who was supposed to be helping with the project, but he'd never shown up. It's almost enough to push Tattoi over the edge, but not quite. Instead, Sora gets a gentle kick in the side.]

Get up. You're needed for the project.

[One sight has become unusually regular in the village: a frail and bearded ape in a rocking chair, rapping his cane around as he complains about the glory days of video games.

He doesn't stay in one place for too long... because eventually people begin avoiding him. So he often hobbles around town to plant his rocking chair somewhere else, with a fresh audience. To hear his rants, which sounds like this:]

Honestly, I thought the Donkey Kongas were bad, but this is the real bottom of the barrel. This has to be the most awful video game I've ever been stuck in. This resolution is hurting my eyes, and everything is so realistic that it's just boring. I've never had to use a bathroom in game before in my life, but now I'm going like clockwork. And another thing! Why does the item shop have all those items. Back in my day, there's only three items you needed: an umbrella, a hat and a purse! Those gave you all the bonus points you needed to get by, and you'd consider yourself lucky if you found a hammer! ...Bah, and you all need haircuts, you infuriating kids!

[Well, hell. Jiraiya's bored and a little tipsy, the last few cute ladies he's seen all rebuffed him, he might as well engage in a bit of chatter.]

Umbrella, hat, and purse? But there's so much more to the world than that! How could you get by without a little drink or two, at least?

[And he might even be offering a sake cup over to the geezerly monkey. Just cause.]

[fidgets on bar stool looking completely lost and confused, back straight in his science blues, fingers lightly tracing lines down the glass of water]

It would seem that being in this place, though making no logical sense, is an unfortunate reality. The complete and sudden absence of all my science equipment makes this situation rather more difficult than I had originally thought. This establishment appears to be similar to that of a Terran 'bar', perhaps if I try to 'blend in', interacting with the locals will perhaps give me an answer to my current... predicament.

[carefully sips water from glass, eyes occasionally studying the movement around the bar]

[It has been long enough for Zevran in the village for him to have gotten a feel for the populace. Aside from that one terribly pale and shirtless fellow, he hadn't seen anyone else with the pointed ears common to elves. It wasn't that much of a surprise, many worlds did not have elves, or so he was told. As such it is something of a surprise to settle in at his usual stool at the bar to find a very tall, very odd looking...elf?

Most he knew were not so tall. Nor were they so fine boned. The ears have it, and that is proof enough for him.]

You seem a bit lost, my friend.

[ There is a suave looking gentleman in your bar Luceti. He is not new to this place though and boy does he wish he could get drunk! Instead he'll just...be sitting at the counter in Seventh Heaven and downing a glass of wine. ] Bloody hell. As if the first time wasn't bad enough...

[ Grouchy snake demon is grouchy. ]

Excuse me, you appear to be familiar with your surroundings. Are you a local inhabitant? What is the name of your species?

(A: Hurting/Medical Assistance Needed.)

[Her lip was busted, an open gash had been hastily wrapped around her upper arm. There'd probably be another scar there before long. A low and bitter but short laugh passed between Fang's lips shaking her frame, causing her to feel the necklaces bounce against her tanned skin. Well, wasn't this just fitting. Get out of one mess and into another. Honestly, it hurt to breath, her ribs were probably cracked but thankfully, for the most part, she'd managed to keep these damn wings out of it. Perhaps she'd gotten lucky on for that much at least. Regardless of Lady Luck being on her side or not, Fang was hurting and quite frankly was in almost desperate need of help even if she was determined to stagger her way back to a safe place. With lance strapped to her back, careful of these fal'Cie be dammed wings, bloodied and torn sari she carried on. A dribble of blood trailed down over her chin from the split lip and each step forward felt like a hundred mile march, one her body protested and strained against, muscles longing to give up and collapse beneath her. It didn't matter though, it wouldn't matter, she wouldn't allow it to.

She couldn't do that to her family after all.]


(B: Open Mic Night/Push Her Up There.)

The 'ell is this? [Eyes narrowed, examining the scene laid out before her. There was a stage set up with all sorts of Gizmos and people prancing about it. Sure, they'd had celebrations back in Oerba, but none tended to seem as elaborate or... Well, from her assessment, regular looking as this mess did. With a glance being given over the situation again, it was a split second before a microphone was nearly shoved into one of her hands and someone was attempting to urge Fang on stage. A low grumble emerged from her throat and Fang locked her stance steady. No one was budging her until she damn well knew what the hell all of this was about.]

[Pascal is also there with a mic in her hands, looking excitedly up at the stage. Honestly, she is perhaps the worst singer to have ever graced a stage in Luceti, but who really cares how bad you are? You're meant to do this sort of thing for fun!]

[So where else did you expect to find him, really? Good Spirits it is, and Jiraiya is certainly living up to the name! If you're a pretty lady, he's most certainly offering you a drink -- well, hell, if you're any kind of lady at all, anywhere between the ages of 'legal' and 'crone' he'll probably offer you a drink and flirt with you anyway, cause he's not the kind to be picky. If you're a dude... well, he'll try to pick up conversation about said ladies. Either way, he's feeling social!]

Hey, heyyy there! Come join me for a spot? You know, this place can be pretty fun! I've had drinks here I never imagined could exist!

[So that's a guy sitting out in a nice quiet spot with a pen and paper handy! Time for the author to get his authoring on, and Jiraiya's chuckling to himself as he scribbles away in his atrocious handwriting. Luceti needs better literature! And anyone who's curious is welcome to come peek over his shoulder and read a bit.

[Okay, so it's a nice day out to have a little stroll and he hasn't gone that far when he saw Jiraiya writing on a nearby bench. Smiling because he had always been a fan of his works, Minato approaches him.]

[What does a girl do when she's stuck in Luceti for who knows how long; go shopping of course. It's something to pass time, especially since everything is free. Blue is mostly interested in any shoes that Luceti has to offer. After a bit of looking, whether she dragged you to come with her or you're simply there, she shows up a pair of blue slippers to you.]

This look pretty cute, don't they?

[It's the beach, the perfect spot to lay around and relax. With nothing better too do, Blue is laying there tanning while watching her pokemon enjoy themselves. This is certainly the life.]

[He's not exactly fashion forward. He's grown up in the depths of a planet where clothes are hand me downs and shoes are for work, not exactly for wearing around the house. He'd rather be barefoot if he had to choose between that or a slipper. Hands shoved in his pockets, he's carrying the others bags for her that she's collected thus far and looking at the shoes his brows furrows slightly.

A small tsk of breath and Aðal looks at the rest of the selection.] Look pretty expensive t' me.

What do you wear those kinda things to anyway?

[Sup Luceti. Someone is roaming around the village and the outskirts, taking in the sights. Particularly, looking for places to train and things to train with. He's dressed for the environment, totally. After all, if he could wear it abroad, he can wear it in Luceti, right?

He can also be found scoping out the grocery store and restaurant scene... Like he's looking for something in particular.]

[Standing rather stiffly in the produce section examining fruit. Looks up to see a rather interesting looking individual seeming to be wandering aimlessly. Still confused by the lack of logic which is Luceti, Spock is compelled to communicate with the individual.]

Greetings, I am Spock. [lifts hand in Vulcan salute] Are you familiar with your surroundings?

[There's a woman standing outside of the furniture store holding a thermos. She looks troubled about something, for certain; it's hard to tell if she's about to go in or if she's been in and out already the way she stands, guarded, back turned to the entrance.

Of course, she doesn't look like a woman, either. She's wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants, the first clothes she found that fit her well enough to wear out. She'll have to get more later. With her muscles and the scars, not to mention her deep voice and gender neutral clothing, she's more an image of masculinity.

Does anyone dare approach the Super High School Level Wrestler, Sakura Oogami?]

[While Brooke plays a solemn refrain on his violin, remembering those lost, and those he's left behind. Feel free to ask what he's thinking about, as he plays this little tune.]

[Since coming to Luceti, Jason's been spending a lot of time in the library. It's not homework or anything—you could call it personal research, out of curiosity.]

Feels like I'm studying for an exam. This would be so much easier with a computer...

[He's working pretty hard, but unsurprisingly, he's not having much luck. The books keep piling up, but he'll have to quit sooner or later. Better luck tomorrow, maybe.]

[Homework— I mean, research, is pretty boring, and Jason is itching for something fun to do, so it's not very surprising when he eventually slips on his Robin costume and wanders about Luceti. It doesn't take long for him to confirm that it's not much more exciting than homework, though.]

It's so quiet, I'm just waitin' for something to jump out at me.

Well, if it ain't the Boy Blunder himself! [He's a bit shorter than the Robins that he's used to seeing, but who knows? Maybe Batman just got desperate and started recruiting kids out of grade school.] So where's Batsy? Off brooding somewhere?

A. At the grocery store! That sure is a dog(or maybe a it's a wolf?) grabbing some meat with his mouth. But don't worry! He's being really careful not to get his saliva on anything he's not taking. How considerate of him!

B. Going for a walk in the woods. It's certainly not an unusual place to see animals or anything.]

[Mitsuru is so normally busy that the lack of productive things to do is maddening. So the most logical thing to do is to at least try to gather as much information on this place as possible, take it back and then possibly try and figure out how and why all this was happening.

The Empress meanders through Luceti, journal in hand and hair tucked back in a braid, writing down notes and taking quick photos of anything she might find helpful.]
