If by "wing injury," you mean "some moron wanted to improve his grappling hook belt, tangled himself up wings and all, and is now dangling from a community housing window like a defeated piñata." Huh. Maybe he should start thinking about wearing more than just the overalls. Winter's supposed to be coming on soon enough anyway.

Ah, Usopp wonders if life from the ground has changed since last his boots touched earth... perhaps one day he will be freed from this prison within a prison, free to run once again. Maybe. He's trying to swing back and forth to work on that, though.

o5. HELL YEAH, BEACH PARTY. Whoever you... all... are. He doesn't have sailing right now, there's no open road to adventure and manly conquest, and treasure is basically worthless, so he's thinking he can divide some of that remaining Pirate XP to devote to good partying once in a while. The ocean is a beautiful place, especially to a very experienced and deadly pirate warrior such as himself. Or, well, it's generally a beautiful place either way, really. Even considering sea monsters and cruel criminal pirates and impossible weather phenomenons that appear without a lick of warning and decimate entire fleets-- wow, Usopp really lost his train of thought there.

He's eighty percent sure that he's never thought of the ocean itself as a scary thing. It's just. Most of the things in it that terrify him. Seventy percent sure? Yeah, that sounds right. He'll buff it to a solid one hundred before it makes the transfer to verbal relay. Kind of unfair of the place to have all that water and a barrier, though.

But he's cool not thinking about it. As a matter of fact, whoever the hell you are in the vicinity, it's storytime. He hasn't been doing nearly enough talking for his own tastes. ]

Ah, yes, the majesty of the sea. [ Oh, Captain Usopp, what an interesting and daring life you've led. ] It reminds me of the time my loyal crew and I fought alongside a tribe of warrior giants... [ So sorry about him.

[It had taken some time for Iskander to sort out how he felt about this Luceti place. It was true that he seemed to be sustaining himself without the Mana from Waver or the power of the Grail, but he wasn't sure if that counted as being truly alive. But by now, he's decided he likes it. The thought of a new world to explore and conquer is exciting to him, especially with so much of it still unknown. The challenge of defeating both the cultists and the Malnosso excites him.

For now, however, he simply has to learn about Luceti. Today finds him in the smithy where he can be found marveling over various weapons. He holds them up, gives them a practice swing, and will remarks with things like, "An excellent weapon" and "incredible craftsmanship" and "this one may be worthy of a king." Of course, some of these might be New Feather weapons as of yet unclaimed. It might be a good idea to claim them before he decides to take them home with him.

Later, however, he is at the bar where he has somehow managed to sneak into the backroom and retrieve a large cask of the finest wine. It's rather impressive of him, given he's nearly seven feet tall and the very opposite of 'stealthy'. With it effortlessly hoisted over his shoulder, he plans to take it out somewhere where he can drink in the open. As a matter of fact, he decides to do just that by the fountain. He will gladly welcome anyone who will come join him for a drink.]

[Saber found it strange, how she continues to return to this land. And once more without Shirou or Rin. It was a little lonesome she admitted, without the two people she called friends to accompany her. And her mana without the ties to a master was low, as the land only supplied very little to sustain her existence. But she returns to her proper routine very quickly and walks about the village at night to keep watch, in case something should arise. She had no clue what sort of threats could be posed to Luceti, be within the barrier or out of it, and she had become accustomed to night time movements during the two Grail Wars.

But it's as she walks toward the plaza, venturing up north, does she experience a true shock. Right by the fountain, drinking (but of course), was Rider. Not the one of the fifth war, but the fourth. The King of Conquerors. The memories of the fourth war were not loss on her even after being resummoned by Shirou and she particularly never had savory ones of Rider, who berated her leadership as childish idealism. But...she realizes in a way, he was right and she was in the wrong. She'll never completely agree with him, her pride unable to let her admit that the path of a just and fair king is wrong, but she has come to understand what he said. Ideals cannot hold a kingdom. It was only during the fifth war did she come to understand that however.

That doesn't mean she likes him however and the weight of his words that crushed her the night she spoke with him and Gilgamesh still stung even now, childishly so. But she'll still approach with an air of caution and resolve.]

Where did you get a barrel so large, I wonder, Rider.

[The end of the Fourth Grail War had done much to curb the restless anger that had defined Archer during the length of it; dealing with modern humans had strengthened his disgust with them, to be sure, but his general loathing and boredom had cooled into a curious acceptance of his situation after his incarnation.

Of course, being dropped into the bizarre equivalent of a magical backwater village, even by Fuyuki's sad standards, irritated him. Being locked away from his treasury, present with him without any distinction between life and Servanthood? That definitely angered him.

That is why he has a sour expression on his face as he approaches the fountain plaza, where he slows to regard the familiar bear of a man and his cask. One of the few pleasant events of the War.]

[She'd heard so much about this hot spring that she couldn't resist trying to find out where it was and take a dip. After fighting for the reestablishment of the Republic on a backwater moon, she felt that she deserved at least a reasonable bath for once.

So, it's with her tremendous Skywalker curiosity that she makes her way to the rec center to use the transporter that she'd also heard about.

[The teleporters made him a little nervous, but they weren't all that different from Genie's magic, so he could adjust. Unfortunately, the one thing Genie's magic didn't prepare him for was other people using the same teleporter the opposite way.

[Jade himself has heard a lot about these fabled hot springs and has wanted to test them out - to see how they measure up to Keterburg's. With the weather getting cooler and things being quiet lately, today seems as a good a day as any. He's still wearing his military uniform, but he has a small bag with his hot spring wardrobe.

When he sees the young lady also making her way towards the teleporter, he moves to the side to let her go first. He smirks as he adjusts his glasses.]

[There won't be any stopping of the space princess -- but when she does make it to the hot springs, there will be one particularly noteworthy sight: the head-winged, green-haired succubus, soaking peacefully... and, well, quite naked at that. Clothing was optional at all the other springs she'd ever gone to...]

[While he had no true interest in visiting the hot springs himself (as he didn't want to pass out from spending too long in the heat), the teleporters themselves were enough of a draw for Keele that he was willing to spend time away from the library and in the Rec Center just to study it.

He was a researcher from the Light Craymelology department of Academia Mintche. The symbol that he found within the system was unfamiliar to a man with his knowledge, but he confident enough in his skills to find out what he wanted-- even if it took time. After all, this couldn't be nearly as hard as learning a dead language from books alone. And, they had nothing but time.

The young woman's approach barely earned any notice from him, until she headed for the teleporter. It was only then that he spoke up without even bothering to look up from the notes that he was absorbed in.]

[It had been a few days since Laura had arrived, and she was adjusting about as well as could be expected...so not at all. At least she had stopped tugging at her blood red wings from time to time to see if they would come off. Said wings were fluttering with barely contained irritation as she made her way around the village now, dressed in a purple tanktop and black leather pants.]

[She had spent her first day in the forest, and her second tentatively feeling out the village itself. So she knew there were people here she knew, but they were...different.]

[So she was avoiding them, if possible. And mostly failing.]

[She could be found still in the village, examining some of the shops, or on her way out into the forest to get away from people and clear her head, or sitting on the ground on the edge of town, just watching from a distance.]

but not with humiliation. no, more like a righteous indignation. she gathers her strength and wits about her before standing and vaulting onto the stage. management might not be kicking him out, but the slayer is. ]

I think you've had enough war stories for the night, Spike. [ her voice stays soft. as if, for now, she's not interested in scolding him too publicly. ]

[He's already found some halfway decent (read: functional) clothes, but he hasn't stopped pawing through the stash at the clothing shop, and he's definitely one of those rude customers who doesn't nicely but everything back in its place before moving onto the next rack, shelf, table. He wants a uniform, dammit. Not only does it make him look cool (because he is cool, obviously), he feels...naked without it. Unprepared, therefore vulnerable.

Can something like that even be found here? Maybe he should put more of his energy toward locating some maneuver gear, but. That would be useless without the harness anyway.

He's skeptical, alright? Sure, this is supposedly some other world, and he hasn't heard anything about titans one way or another, but he prefers to be skeptical than eaten.]

[Speaking of being skeptical...

Once he's dug his uniform out (no luck on the maneuver gear just yet), Jean walks through town looking for answers. Which amounts to waving down anyone who passes by and asking:]

[Humans live inside walls. That is a fact. Therefore, he can't be too far from one. And it's always good to know.]

Lucas | MOTHER 3

[BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Lucas is a sweet yet rather quiet little boy, who would later on get dragged into a series of unfortunate events which caused him to break down for one chapter. Thankfully, he got better and became the main protagonist of the game.

SO you have two options:

A. - So it's been a while since Lucas has ever done his favorite hobby. What would that be? Well it's GARDENING. So right now, he's just checking out the flowers, to see if they're all bright and blooming today. Ain't his tiny flower garden pretty? Stare at it, help him out water these things, or be some sort of jerk and roll or stomp on his flower bed, it's your call.

B. - It's a downpour today, and poor Lucas forgot to bring his umbrella. Now he's pretty much stuck somewhere that's dry (whether be in some waiting shed or under a tree), and waiting for the rain to stop. Unfortunately, just watching the rain is enough for his spirits to plummet. For it reminded him of that terrible night. ...He needs a good distraction, stat.]

[Aang - a growing boy monk who is now around 15 - is walking through the rain as well. His own bad memories involving storms don't come to the surface; he focuses on the current rain. If one looks, they'll notice that he's swishing one hand through the air - and that all of the water seems to be going around his body without making any contact. He's still dry.

Aang pauses when he spots the boy under a nearby tree. He looks troubled. Aang tries to give a friendly smile.]

Marco Bott | Attack on Titan

[It's been a few days since Marco found himself in Luceti. A few days since he was torn straight from the mayhem in Trost to awaken in this odd little village. It took a while for the realization to sink in that he wouldn't need to finish the battle- the chaos that his mind was sure he was still smack-dab in the middle of. He could take it easy and focus on other things here. He'd need to focus on other things here, or his thoughts would wander right back to all the death and destruction he'd witnessed back home.

So he finds himself on the beach, staring at the ocean with wide eyes. It's nothing like the rivers that flow through the walls. It's almost like the water goes on forever. Maybe it does go on forever. This is the kind of sight that they could've had at home, were it not for the titans that stole that luxury away from them. He starts strolling along the water's edge, feet dragging themselves through the sand almost clumsily. It doesn't occur to him that he must look odd to some people in his uniform. A soldier's uniform is his pride, after all.

He comes to a halt again when he finds an odd structure in the sand before him. A small, shaky-looking castle. Parts of its turrets seem to have crumbled off a long while ago. Did children build this? Is it something that's usually done near the ocean? He doesn't get it, but he likes it. Carefully, he crouches down beside the little sandcastle and before he knows it, his hands are attempting to fix it. Fix it, then expand it. A castle could never have enough turrets. It's tricky work, getting the sand to stick properly, but he gets the hang of it soon enough. Once the castle itself's been patched up, it's time for fortification.

Before long, anyone who comes across him at the beach will find him constructing an enormous sand wall. While the castle in the middle isn't even a foot high, the wall being built all around it comes up to Marco's waist.]

[ There was no warning, really. Anyone who didn't already know her probably wouldn't have guessed that there was a frothing rage monster under that well manicured and seemingly cheerful exterior. Sure, grocery shopping wasn't high on her list of exciting outings, but she'd approached it happily enough. Luceti isn't exactly a hub of commerce (the technology and fashion scenes are extremely depressing to her), so she'll take what shopping she can get.

Only now, even that's being taken away from her! After all the mental preparation she'd done to try to get herself to enjoy the activity... And on top of that, what will the kids eat? ]
